About Us

What We Believe

Repentance and Forgiveness

Jesus said, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."  The call of the Savior is to our confession of sin and acknowledgement of new life (Romans 10:9-10).  God's eternal salvation is available only through His Son, whom He has given that we might have life abundant in the present and life everlasting in the future. (John 3:16, 10:10; Romans 6:23; I Timothy 2:5).

Water Baptism

The Lord Jesus Christ commanded that after we were born again, water baptism was the next step in obedience in our new life in Christ (Mark 16:16).  We stongly encourage those who are born again to be baptized in order that they may share together in Christ's death, burial and resurrection (Romans 6:4,5).

Holy Communion

In remembrance of our Lord Jesus, and to proclaim His death until He comes, we observe Holy Communion as recorded in I Corinthians 11:23-30.

Baptism in the Holy Spirit

Christ's promise in Acts 1:5 is as available today as it was when our changeless Lord gave it: "You shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit." The promise of the gift of the Holy Spirit is to be taken seriously (Acts 2:38-39).

Why We

Clap our hands and voice shouts of praise:

Clap your hands, all peoples!  Shout to God with loud songs of joy! (Psalm 47:1).

Lift up our hands:

Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord! (Psalm 134:2).

Praise God audibly:

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness!  Come before His presence with singing! (Psalm 100:1-2).

Prophesy and Speak in Tongues with the Interpretation:

Now I want yoiu all to speak in tongues, but even more to prophesy.  He who prophesies is greater than he who speaks in tongues, unless someone interprets, so that the church may be edified (I Corinthians 14:5).

Pray together as a whole church for specific needs:

If two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.  For where two or three gather in My name there am I in the midst of them (Matthew 18:19-20).

Pray for and minister to one another:

Therefore confess your sins one to another, and pray for one another, thay you may be healed.  The prayer of a righteous man has great power in its effects (James 5:16).

Play musical instruments:

Praise Him with the trumpet sound; praise Him with the flute and harp!  Praise Him with the tambourine and dance; praise Him with stringed and wind instruments or flutes!
